Competing values such as flexibility, strategic focus, structure, and environment are also important to consider in determining cultural values' relevance. 

Understanding the leadership perspective about leadership context is crucial in addressing these challenges. 

Leaders need to consider performance values and their beliefs about what has worth, merit, and importance for the organization's success. 

Through understanding the competing values framework, leaders can categorize organizational culture performance values into adaptability, achievement, involvement, and consistency. 

Successful organizations with strong cultures will lean more towards one particular culture category

Additionally, wicked problems such as disagreement among leaders about dominant values can create challenges for organizational success.

The readings and videos were insightful and provided a better understanding of the competing values approach to culture types. The concept of wicked problems and megatrends, which are becoming prevalent in today's society of constant changes and high competition, has been a critical discovery.

Diagnose and change organizational culture

Learned how leaders can diagnose and change organizational culture to meet the needs of their employees and customers. It was interesting to see how successful organizations had a specific category of culture values in which they fell and leaned towards more. 

I gained an appreciation of the importance of consistent cultural values in achieving organizational goals and a better understanding of the impact of leadership in managing wicked problems and changes in an organization. 

Overall, it was a valuable reading and learning experience that has improved my insight to effectively address current leadership challenges.
